Engaging Preschool Programs & Activities for Your Child at Early Learning Center

Early Learning Center provides a nurturing environment with on-site preschool classrooms for three to five years old in Neenah, WI, while parents and guardians are working. With a curriculum anchored in the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards , we nurture cognitive, social, and emotional development.

Our young learners enjoy a variety of age-appropriate activities, from art projects that spark creativity to interactive literacy games that build early reading skills, all within a supportive community setting. We also include daily outdoor play to promote physical health and social skills. Alongside our structured learning, we ensure that each child receives nutritious meals and snacks compliant with the USDA Childcare Food Program to support their well-being.

Our Curriculum

At Early Learning Center, care and educational programs are provided full-time and part-time for children aged six weeks to seven years. Our age-specific curriculum helps young learners build a strong foundation by focusing on key areas such as colors, shapes, letters, numbers, and more! Beyond academics, our comprehensive approach emphasizes the development of social skills, table manners, and the importance of building friendships.

Our programs adhere to the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS) to provide a high-quality learning experience. Students engage in hands-on learning that reinforces their understanding of basic concepts, and we place a strong emphasis on outdoor activities that contribute to physical health and environmental awareness. We also offer parent-teacher conferences to provide families with the opportunity to discuss their child’s progress, share insights, and collaborate on effective strategies to support their child’s development both at school and at home.

Programs & Activities

Children under the age of two years can qualify for part-time care if they have a sibling attending every week at Early Learning Center. To enroll your child, you must first schedule and complete a tour of the center to better evaluate for yourself if our center will meet the needs of your family.

Infants

Ages: Six weeks to 12 months

Our caregivers create a nurturing atmosphere where infants feel secure and valued through warm smiles, gentle touches, and kind words. Bright, stimulating equipment and peaceful, restful areas, including a separate nap room, are thoughtfully arranged, providing a safe and engaging environment that supports your infant's natural curiosity and development.

Activities

Scheduled nap times and feedings. We work with parents to create a routine that responds to your child's individual needs

Our Toddler Program

Ages: 12-24 months

In this stage of growing mobility and curiosity, we provide a nurturing, interactive environment that builds on your toddler’s emerging independence. With warm guidance and plenty of encouragement, children explore the world around them while developing essential motor, language, and social skills.

Activities

Routines include music, storytime, outdoor exploration, sensory play, early language building, and age-appropriate art—designed to spark imagination and support developmental milestones.

2 Year Old Program

Ages: Two to three years old

Our 2 year old program is designed to nurture this crucial phase of your child's development, focusing on independence, self-esteem, and the essential life skills they are beginning to form. Through thoughtfully structured play, both in individual and group settings, our program fosters a safe and dynamic environment where your little ones can thrive, learn, and grow.

Activities

We dive into fun with colors, shapes, self-help, socializing, language, and outdoor play, keeping curious minds engaged and growing.

Preschool Program

Ages: Three year old & up

From ABC to 123, our little learners march to kindergarten with glee! Our Preschool Program is designed to nurture the critical skills your child needs to succeed in kindergarten.Offering a preschool program at age 3 gives them a head start into learning.

Activities

We provide a variety of stimulating, age-appropriate activities, including free play, engaging in arts and crafts, exploring early math, science, and literacy, experiencing sensory activities, and enjoying outdoor play. Additionally, field trips are offered at this age, extending learning beyond our classrooms.
